What is the deposit amount?
20% of the item price. The deposit is non-refundable.
How many payments do I make?
Five payments in total: 1 deposit + 4 instalments over up to 8 weeks. You may pay earlier.
Can I pay it off early?
Yes. You can settle the balance at any time. Contact us if you'd like a single link for the remaining amount.
When do I receive my item?
After the final payment clears. Then we ship via Express Post or you can collect in-store.
Can I cancel my Layby?
Layby sales are final. If you choose to cancel, the 20% deposit is forfeited. Any additional payments you've made will be refunded.
What happens if I miss a payment?
We'll send reminder emails and SMS. If payments fall behind and remain unpaid after our grace period, we may cancel the Layby. Your deposit is forfeited and any extra payments will be refunded.
Do you charge fees?
No account-keeping fees. If a Layby is cancelled due to non-payment, the deposit covers our reasonable costs of holding and relisting the item.
Can I change items during Layby?
No. Layby locks in a specific item. You can cancel (deposit forfeited) and start a new Layby on another item.
Which payment methods can I use?
Online card payments or bank debit via our secure payment links. In-store card accepted. Afterpay is available for eligible smaller purchases but not for Layby balances.
Is there a time limit?
Yes. The plan must be completed within 8 weeks from the deposit date unless we agree in writing to extend it.

- Missed payments: reminders are sent. If unpaid after the grace period, Layby may be cancelled; deposit forfeited; additional payments refunded
